Job Description: For a Local Bank in UAE.
Arab national or Western national with Arab origin.
Job Purpose
Typically reports to the CEO and directs the operation Systems and operating area involving diverse functions in the bank. Supervise & Assists in the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of company operation policies and long-term plans. Directs the study and establishment of new and revised systems, procedures, and methods that apply to the areas under management. Responsible for the overseeing of the control and compliance of operations issues.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain operational processes and functions within the bank
- Maintain compliance with Central Bank Rules & Regulations
- Develop long range strategic plans for all operational facets of the bank
- Manages, supervises and coordinates activities of personnel involved in performing the operations duties personally or through subordinate supervisors
- Manages the identification and evaluation of the organization's Operations risk areas
- Convey & Communicates operations report to Top Management Team & Board of directors
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities consistent with the employee Role and assigned by the management
Required Qualifications:
Education
Masters degree in Business or any relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years broad banking experience in management and key leadership positions
Skills:
must have knowledge and experience in business development, investments, planning & assessment, credit administration, regulatory & compliance and technical competence.
- Requires deep operations experience, including management responsibility in multiple operating areas.
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills (Arabic & English)
- Managerial Analytical and problem solving skills
